St Lawrence's Church, Cholesbury, is in the beautiful Buckinghamshire Chilterns close to Tring, Chesham and Wendover. This is a popular area for walking and a footpath passes through the churchyard. The church is a traditional flint structure and is situated within an Iron Age hill fort. Most of the fort's ditch and bank are visible and can be walked. The Church is usually open throughout the year.
We use both Prayer Book and Common Worship services. Twice a month the services include hymns accompanied by our Bates church organ giving a lovely sound in our small country church. You are welcome to join us.
Our second Sunday Morning Worship was uniquely designed by a lay reader and the congregation based on Common Worship. and in contemporary language.
Cholesbury is part of the Hill Top Parishes with our neighbours Hawridge, St Leonards and The Lee
